In Memory of Ruth E. Hoffman

Ruth E. Hoffman, age 75, of Ashland, Nebraska formerly of  Columbus, Nebraska died Saturday October 4, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Funeral Services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday October 8, 2003 at St. Luke's Congregational Church - UCC in Columbus with Reverend Nancy Peebles officiating.  Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Creston, Nebraska.  Visitation is 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home and 12:00 noon - service time Wednesday at the Church.

Ruth E. Hoffman was born December 24, 1927 in Leigh to Joseph & Kathe (Correll) Hanak. She married Miles Hoffman on October 26, 1947 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Creston. She lived most of her married life in Columbus. She was a homemaker and worked at Dale Electronics. Ruth enjoyed visiting friends and family. She was a member of St. Luke's Congregational Church-UCC, and the VFW Auxiliary.
