In Memory of Irene Ritchie

Irene Ritchie, age 84, of Columbus, Nebraska died Saturday November 8, 2003 at the Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Funeral Services are 10:30 am Saturday, November 15, 2003 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus with the Rev. Richard Bringewatt officiating.  Visitation is on Friday from 4-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home and continues on Saturday from 9:30 am until service time at the Church.  There will be a 10:15 am family prayer service on Saturday, also at the church.  Interment is in Columbus Cemetery.

Irene Ritchie was born September 15, 1919 in Seward County, Nebraska to George and Eleanor (Sheeper) Richters. She attended District #66 School in Seward County. She married William Ritchie on June 11, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. The couple moved to Columbus in 1960. Irene was a homemaker and worked for Meadow Gold for 5 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Evening Guild, Christian Women's Club, Ladies Auxiliary, A.A.R.P.. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.
