In Memory of Donald Petermann, Sr.

Donald Petermann, Sr., 59, of Columbus, Nebraska died Friday, March 7, 2003 at the Columbus Community Hospital.  Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday March 11, 2003 at the Federated Church in Columbus with Reverend Don Wilson officiating.  Burial is in the Columbus Cemetery.  Visitation is 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday at McKown Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church.

Donald Petermann was born March 30, 1943 in Columbus, Nebraska to Bernard and Mary (Loeffler) Petermann, Sr. He grew up in Columbus and graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1962. He married Mary Ann Romshek on December 5, 1969 in Schuyler, Nebraska. Don worked for Becton - Dickinson from 1963 - 1998 and then went to work at the Columbus Middle School. He was a member of the Eagles Club and enjoyed playing bingo, putting together puzzles and models, car shows, grilling, gardening, and watching his grandchildren play sports.
