Robert D. Gerber

Robert D. Gerber, age 64, of Columbus, Nebraska died Saturday June 21, 2003 at the Beverly Health Care in Columbus. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday June 24, 2003 at the McKown Funeral Chapel in Columbus with Reverend Timothy White officiating.  Burial is in the Columbus Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday and 8:00 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral Home.

Robert Dean Gerber was born February 12, 1939 in Columbus, Nebraska to Sam & Ann (Weber) Gerber. He grew up in Columbus and graduated from Kramer High School in 1958. On March 25, 1963 he married Florence Ryba in Iowa. They lived in Omaha for a year before coming back to live in Columbus. Robert worked as a mechanic for 18 years and owned his own repair shop for 4 years.
