In Memory of Theresa "Terry" Dush

Theresa "Terry" Dush  age 79 of Columbus died Saturday at Beverly Health Care in Columbus. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday; July 9, 2003 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. The Rev. Del Lape will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McKown Funeral Home. A vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening also at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Theresa "Terry" Dush was born December 17, 1923 in Tarnov, Nebraska to Florian and Balbina (Zoucha) Placzek. She received her education in Tarnov. She was married to John Dush on October 24, 1944 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. They lived in Columbus until 1951 when they moved to the farm south of Silver Creek. They farmed until 1984 when they retired and moved back to Columbus. Terry also worked for several years as a waitress at King's Korner in Columbus. She was a member of St. Anthony Church, St. Theresa Sodality and past member of St. Lawrence Alter Society.
