In Memory of Alvin Neemeyer

Alvin Donald Neemeyer, 55, of Columbus died Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Columbus Community Hospital.  Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday; July 28, 2003 at  Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus. The Rev. Timothy White will officiate. Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Monday morning 9:30 a.m. until service time. There will be a 10:15 am. family prayer service.  Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Memorial Fund, American Cancer Society, or to the donors choice.

Alvin "Al" Donald Neemeyer was born March 22, 1948 in Columbus to Ervin and Verna (Kell) Neemeyer. He grew up on a farm 10 miles north of Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School in 1966. He married Helen Marie Staroscik on April 4, 1970 at St. Bonaventure Church. Al lived in Columbus all of his life and worked for Steenbock Oil and as an equipment salesman for Garretson Equipment. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Eagles Club, and bowled for several years.
