In Memory of Luella C. Foltz

Luella C. Foltz, age 81 of Columbus died Friday; January 17, 2003 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday; January 21, 2003 at the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. The Rev. Tom Weisbecker will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. A vigil service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday at the church. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the McKown Funeral Home.

Luella C. Foltz was born October 17, 1921 in St. Bernard, Nebraska to Frank and Marie (Glaser) Pfeifer. She received her education at St. Bernard School. She married Alfred P. Foltz on August 18, 1942 at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Luella and Alfred farmed in the St. Bernard area until 1949 when they moved into Columbus. She worked for many years at Dale Electronics until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and spending time with her family.
