Farewell to Mother

Tears softly fall down our cheeks
for the loss of one that was so strong
but yet so weak.

We knew her body was tired and weary
yet her spirit was strong to the end:
giving courage to all of us who remain
to not give way to pain.

She would like to have stayed with us,
but God had plans for her of His own...

Mom's work here on earth was done,
and her Heavenly home was waiting.

She abides there with our Father
for all who keep the faith
to join her one day in everlasting life.
