Ruth Rohrich

Ruth Rohrich, 84, of Grand Island died Saturday August 2, 2003 at Bryan LGH-East in Lincoln.  Services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday August 6, 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Platte Center, Nebraska with Reverend Rod Kneifl officiating.  Burial will be in the Ss Patrick/Joseph Cemetery rural Platte Center.  Visitation is after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday with a 7:30 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus.  Visitation will continue Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the church. 

Miss Rohrich was born June 9, 1919 in Butler County, Nebraska to William and Amelia (Miksch) Rohrich.  She was a caregiver all her adult life.  Ruth enjoyed flowers, gardening and baking.

She is survived by:

Three Nieces:  JoAnn Hoffer of Columbus, Nebraska, Margie Williams of York, Nebraska and Janice Bonsak of Shelby, Nebraska

Two Nephews: Gene Scholz of Omaha, Nebraska and Jerome Scholz of Shelby, Nebraska.

She was preceded by:

Her parents, four sisters Mary, Rose, Anna and Bertha, three brothers Ed, Bill and John.
