In Memory of Dorothy Bernt

Dorothy Bernt, 64, of Columbus died Monday, September 23, 2002 at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha.  Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday; September 27, 2002 at the McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. The Rev. Fr. Delmar G. Funk will officiate. Burial will be in the Columbus Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday morning 9:00 a.m. until service time also at the funeral home.

Dorothy A. Bernt was born January 23, 1938 in Richland, Nebraska to Harry and Alene (Miller) Lewis. She grew up in Columbus and attended Columbus Public Schools. She married Donald Bernt on November 3, 1954 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. She was a housewife and enjoyed raising her family.
