In Memory of Stella Irene Langan

Stella Irene Langan, age 88, of Columbus, Nebraska died Tuesday October 8, 2002 at her home.  Funeral Services are 9:00 a.m. Saturday October 12, 2002 at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus with Reverend Tom Weisbecker officiating.  Burial is in the Ss. Patrick/Joseph Cemetery near Platte Center, Nebraska.  Visitation is after 5:00 p.m. Friday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at St. Bonaventure Church.  Visitation will continue Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. until service time at St. Bonaventure Church.

Stella Irene Langan was born November 11, 1913 in Utica, New York to John and Agnes (Dambiak) Pachunka. She grew up in Columbus and attended school in Duncan. On November 11, 1939 she married Arnold E. Langan at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus. The couple lived in Platte Center and Columbus before moving to Omaha in 1960. In 1984 they returned to Columbus. She was a devoted housewife and mother. Stella belonged to St. Bonaventure Church.
