In Memory of Patricia J. Thiele

Patricia J. Thiele, 73, of Columbus died Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln.  Funeral services are 10:30 AM Friday at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Weisbecker officiating.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-5 PM at McKown Funeral Home and after 6 PM at St. Bonaventure Church.  There will be a Vigil service at 7 PM Thursday at St. Bonaventure Church.  Visitation will continue on Friday morning from 8-10 AM at McKown Funeral Home.  Interment will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Patricia J. Thiele was born May 22, 1929 in Columbus to Frank & Thelma (Ebel) Kerr. She received her early education in Butler County before graduating from St. Bonaventure High School in 1946. She worked for the JC Penney store. She married Wilbert L. Thiele on November 27, 1950 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. The couple farmed near Clearwater until 1960 when they moved back to Columbus. Along with raising her large family, she worked for Dale Electronics. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, St. Bonaventure Guild, and Scotus Mothers.
