Victor C. Weber

Victor C. Weber, age 89, of Columbus died Monday; May 27, 2002 at the Good Samaritan Center in Osceola, Nebraska. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Thursday ; May 30, 2002 at the First United Methodist Church in Columbus. The Reverend Gary Main will officiate. Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 3-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home.

Victor C. Weber was born January 2, 1913 in Platte County, Nebraska to John and Hattie (Schroeder) Weber. He received his education in the rural Platte County schools in the Monroe area. He farmed north east of Monroe until 1948 when he moved west of Columbus where he has lived since. He owned and operated several service stations in Columbus including the Sindclair and Champlain Stations. He then worked with his son at Mel's Automotive and later at the Mower Shop until his retirement.
