Dorothy Greer

Dorothy Greer, 78, of Duncan died Sunday, December 15, 2002 at Beverly Health Care in Columbus.  Funeral services are 11:00 am Wednesday, December 18 at McKown Funeral Home.  Visitation is on Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm at the funeral home.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am until service time.  Interment will be in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery.

Dorothy Greer was born March 13, 1924 in Fullerton, Nebraska to Pete and Helen (Urkoski) Liss. She received her education in Fullerton, NE, Silver Creek, NE and St. Bonaventure School in Columbus, Nebraska. She married Clarence Greer in 1943. They lived in Whibey Island, Washington; Pensacola, Florida and Eugene, Oregon during his Navy career. After Clarence's death Dorothy moved to Duncan, Nebraska in the 70's. She enjoyed her animals, gardening and homemaking.
