commentsWe were very lucky to see Dennis this summer at a college gathering in Worcester. We spent several hours catching up on the different directions out lives have taken us since college days. He was a great guy and we are very happy to have known him. He was very proud of his family, his contributions to the community, and he valued his relationships with his many friends. He will be missed by all that knew him. We are very lucky to be able to call him an old friend. May God with you all. --Andy & Winnie Anderson--
commentsThe Kennedy family - Our most sincere sympathies to your family. I wanted to send this as my dad is on a cruise for the bank and will not be back until this next Sunday (9/16). We have been trying to reach him regarding Dennis, but have not been successful. He is going to be greatly sadden by this news. I know he would want his condolences sent and to let you all know why he is unable to be at the funeral service. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Love, The Grosshans
commentsSo sorry to hear about your loss. We are thinking of you.
commentsPain penetrates Me drop by drop. the poet Sappho (translated from the Greek) That's how we feel about Dennis, who enjoyed life non pareil. Love & caring to all of his family.
commentsDennis was a wonderful "people" person, and will be very much missed at the bank with his great smile.
commentsTo the Kennedy family, This summer I had the privilege of working for Dennis at the bank as a summer part-time teller. He always had a smile on his face. I was saddened to hear that he had passed away. Even though I worked there for a short time, I know that he will be greatly missed. My sincerest sympathies to each of you.
commentsI'm simply stunned to hear this. Dennis was larger than life. His smile and presence dominated a room as soon as he entered, and his voice and humor once he started talking enhanced the dominance ... and you never tired of hearing him. While deeply saddened, I have to laugh at the memories of Dennis. I watched my going away video tonight where Dennis and the Glenwood golf crew showed up. Everyone was polite and typical: "Hope to see you again" ... "Call me .." .. "See you sometime" .. etc. .. And then there was typical Dennis: "Franko - I'll neva see yawr ass again .." Knowing he traveled to Mass. often, I said "Hell - when you're driving thru, stop by." He said: "If I'm going thru Ohio, I'll be 30,000 feet in the air ... but I'll make sure to flush as I pass over." Everybody was in tears laughing at Dennis ... When I think of my short time in Nebraska, Dennis was one person I always remembered ... and I always will.
