In Memory of Louis Maca

Louis Maca, age 64, of Columbus died Tuesday November 6, 2001 in Pacific Junction, Iowa.  Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday; November 9, 2001 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus, Nebraska. The Rev. Christopher Grimmond will officiate. Burial will be in the All Saints Cemetery located in Columbus, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday 3-5 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home and after 6:00 p.m. at the St. Anthony Catholic Church. A Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Church. Visitation will continue Friday morning from 8-10 a.m. at the McKown Funeral Home.

Louis F. Maca was born March 3, 1937 in Columbus, Nebraska to Louis and Tillie (Svoboda) Maca. On February 21, 1955 he married Irene Hughes at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Imogene, Iowa. He was an independent truck driver and has lived in Columbus since 1973. Louis was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Eagles Club, and the N.R.A.
