We remember JR from a soccer team our son, Tyler was on when they were younger. You coached that year John, and I was team mom. What a beautiful boy JR was.Our hearts go out to you. I don't believe there is a bigger trial in life than losing a child. None of us knows how much time we get here on earth, but it never makes sense when someone so young is taken from us. Dear John, Deb, Carolyn, Tyler, and Heather, I just wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers and in my thought. JR and I have known each-other almost all of our lives. I can remember all the times that we spent talking during church, and all of our play practices, and the wonderful Sunday mornings spent together at Sunday School. JR was an amazing kid. We will all miss him greatly. But I know God had a plan for him, God had a specail Assignment for him. Maybe it was to help the youth in Columbus. Maybe it was to teach a lesson. I remember, when Tony and I were little, playing with JR & Carolyn at Bob and Laura's house in Fort Dodge. I never knew JR very well, and if I had known him any better, I couldn't imagine how much greater my pain would be. I was in absolute shock when I found out and I can't think of anything else.
